Horsemanship Day Camp for Kids
What could be more fun for the young rider or horse lover in your family than spending their mornings with horses at the Ranch? With camps suitable for ages 7 to 15, participants learn about horses and horsemanship, western tack, horse care, and trail riding. All camps provide plenty of hands-on horse experience and combine instruction with riding, games and other fun activities. Camps are five days long: Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to noon, and each session is capped at 10 participants. Camps are overseen by a CHA Certified Western Riding Coach.
Buckaroos (Ages 7-10)
For the young Buckaroo, this camp contains the first building blocks of good horsemanship, the basics of riding and horse care, and includes trail riding as well as fun horse-related games.
Wranglers (Ages 11-15)
Our Wranglers camp builds on the skills learned in Buckaroos, including ground-based horsemanship, tacking-up, riding skills, and horse care, as well as group activities emphasizing teamwork.

How to Register - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
We generally have very high demand for our horse camp. Because of this, we’ve put a draw system in place in the event we have more applicants than the number of spaces available. Please read the following carefully! If registration forms are sent earlier or later, they will not be accepted.
Application forms will be accepted from Sunday, February 1st to Wednesday, February 4th, 2026. Please do not submit the camp fee yet! Applications received before the start dates will not be accepted; and applications sent after the end date won’t be accepted unless there are camp spaces available.
For each camp session, if there are more applicants than spaces (10 children per session), we will draw applicants at random on Thursday, February 5th and the main contact parent/guardian will be notified by email.
When you received confirmation that your child will be attending camp, you will receive an invoice that can be paid by e-transfer, credit card, or cash. Full payment will be due by Sunday, February 15th.
Only one application form (i.e. entry) per child will be accepted, although you can choose both sessions on the form for a greater chance to be drawn for one.
For siblings/friends that will only participate if they can attend together, each child’s application form can be “paired” for one entry: both application forms must list the other child’s name in the “Paired Registrant” section. If the child will participate regardless of their friend/siblings absence, please leave this section blank.
If there are any cancellations or non-payments, we will draw from the pool of applicants.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Full payment of the Camp Fee is due for all successful applicants by Sunday, February 15th. All cancellations of a camp session are subject to a $30 admin fee. 50% of the Camp Fee is non-refundable within one month of the camp start date unless we are able to fill the cancelled spot.
