Reserve your ride by giving us a call at 204-349-2410

NEW FOR 2026: Payment is due in full at the time of booking. You may pay by e-transfer to payment@falconbeachranch.com  (preferred) or by credit card (through payment link) at the time of booking. Prepayment is required to confirm your ride reservation.

Ride fees are non-refundable. We ride rain (or snow!) or shine. In cases of dangerous weather (e.g., thunderstorms, extreme weather), we will do our best to reschedule you. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund may be issued.

Our ranch and riding trails are smoke-free. We ask you refrain from smoking or vaping while at the ranch or on any of our rides.

We love pets, but for the safety and comfort of resident ranch animals, please leave yours at home!

Special Accommodations (Age & Weight)

From May to October, we can accommodate riders of all ages. Children 12 years old and younger must be accompanied on the ride by an adult. From November to April, riders must be at least 12 years of age.

For the health and safety of our horses, our maximum rider weight is 250 lbs (114 kg).

When booking, please indicate whether any of the following apply to members of your group:

·       Big & tall riders (200–250 lbs [91–114 kg] or over 6’3 [191cm]) – will be assigned a larger horse

·       Children under 5 years of age – may ride double with a parent if the combined weight is less than 200 lbs (91 kg)

·       Children 5 to 7 years of age – may ride their own horse while being led by a trail guide on horseback, at the discretion of ranch staff

There are limited spots available on each ride for these accommodations, so be sure to book in advance!

To accommodate riders of all levels and abilities, group rides are normally walking only. Some jogging/trotting may be possible but only if all riders are comfortable. Riders who have their hearts set on going faster than a walk are strongly encouraged to book a private ride.

Liability Waiver

Participation in activities at Falcon Beach Ranch is at your own risk. All guests must read and sign our liability waiver prior to taking part in any riding or ranch activities. A Parent/Guardian must sign a waiver for children under 18 years old. This can be done in the office during check-in for your ride or by requesting a waiver in advance for unaccompanied minors (we’ll send it to you by email!).

Cancellations, Weather & Trail Conditions

NEW FOR 2026: Ride fees are paid at the time of booking and are non-refundable. With 24 hours notice, we may be able to reschedule your ride.

We ride rain (or snow!) or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. In cases of dangerous weather (e.g., thunderstorms, extreme weather warnings), we will do our best to reschedule you. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund may be issued.

The spring thaw in March and April makes riding conditions highly unpredictable. Unfortunately, this often coincides with Spring Break in Manitoba. Riding may not be available at all during March and/or April due to icy trails. Watch for updates on our website and social media.

Preparing for Your Ride

You will be riding in a Western saddle with covered stirrups (tapaderos). We recommend that all riders wear long pants and close-toed shoes. If you arrive with slides, sandals, flip-flops, or crocs, you may be asked to remove them.

For rider safety, bags, backpacks, purses (including cross-body bags), and large cameras cannot be taken on with you on your ride. Fanny packs are permissible.

Dress appropriately for the weather. Rain jackets are great, but please leave your plastic ponchos and umbrellas at home, as these items are much feared by some horses!

For Winter Rides, snow pants are highly recommended, along with warm boots, toques, scarves and mitts.

Helmets

Helmets are highly recommended for children under 18. Certified equestrian helmets are available for complimentary loan when you check in, or you are welcome to bring your own equestrian helmet.

When You Arrive

Please arrive to check in 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled ride departure time. Large groups (6 or more) should arrive 45 minutes in advance. Come to the gift shop where our friendly staff will check you in, fit you for a helmet (if requested), and have you sign the liability waiver.

Late arrivals run the risk of being left behind and refunds will not be issued, so plan ahead! Come early enough to visit the restroom (outhouse) and explore the grounds. You may meet a friendly pig, dog, cat, chicken or pony!
