Reserve your ride by giving us a call at 204-349-2410 (toll free in Canada 877-949-2410).

When you book a ride, we will ask for a contact name, phone number, and a credit card number to hold the reservation.

If you are a first time rider, weigh over 200 lbs, or have any kind of limitation, please identify yourself when booking to allow us to serve you better. For the health and well-being of our horses, our maximum rider weight is 250 lbs.

Experience Levels

Rides are grouped according to stated experience levels. All rides are conducted to the level of the least experienced rider on the ride. Guides will slow the ride for the safety and comfort of the less experienced. Please be honest about your riding experience.

Age

Riders 5 to 8 years old can be led by a guide on their own horse at the discretion of your trail guide. A child under 5 may ride double with a parent, keeping in mind that weight, size, and riding level limitations may apply. There is an extra fee for both leads and doubles.

Children 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellations/No Shows

Cancellation notice is 24 hours before the ride time. 50% of the total ride price may be charged to your card if your booking is cancelled or changed less than 24 hours before your ride. No shows will be charged 50% of the ride price on their credit card.

Weather

We ride rain or shine (or snow)! In the event that we decide to cancel a ride due to conditions we feel are unsafe, we will not apply charges and will try our best to reschedule your ride.

Riding may not be available during March and/or April due to icy trail conditions, depending on the spring thaw.

Attire

We recommend that all riders wear long pants and covered shoes (no sandals, no crocs). If you arrive with slides, flip-flops, or crocs, you may be asked to remove them. Bags, purses, (including cross-body belt bags/fanny packs) and large cameras cannot be taken on horseback for rider safety. Please dress appropriately for the weather, but please leave your plastic ponchos and umbrellas at home, as they can be much feared by some horses!

Safety

Helmets are recommended for children under 18. We have a small selection of helmets available to loan. If you wish to wear a helmet, you are welcome to bring your own.

All our rides are guided. Riders must follow the instructions of the trail guides.

Waiver

Participation in activities at the Ranch is at your own risk. All guests must read and sign our liability waiver prior to taking part in any riding or ranch activities. Parents or Guardians must sign a waiver for children under 18 years old. This can be done in the office during check-in for your ride or by requesting a waiver in advance for unaccompanied minors (we’ll send it to you by email!).

Check-in

We ask all riders to arrive to check-in 30 minutes in advance of the scheduled ride departure time. Large groups should arrive 45 minutes in advance. Riders who are late run the risk of being left behind and may be charged as if they were a no show.

Smoking

We provide our animals and guests with a non-smoking environment. Please refrain from smoking when within the Ranch gates.

Pets

We love animals! However, we ask that you do not bring your pet onto the ranch grounds in consideration of all our resident animals, big and small.
