Thanks to everyone who joined us this year’s short but sweet sleigh ride season! There are bare spots now on the trails, so Ronnie + Sammy have some holiday time until we’re able to start wagon rides later in the spring.

With the warming weather, we’re itching to spend more time out on the trails, but trail riding during the thaw is challenging. On warm days, snow melts and pools in places, and then freezes during the night or on colder days and leaves treacherous ice slicks or crusts that are unsafe for riding on. We monitor conditions closely and will make the call a day or two before whether the trails are safe enough to ride. Right now we are offering One Hour Private Rides for ages 12+ on warm afternoons only. Once the trails are fully clear - usually by mid-April, but the exact date is variable year to year - we’ll be back in the saddle as usual, with riding for kids and group rides back on the schedule :)
